Giardini Naxos is a very ancient town, whose interesting origins are told in the Archaeological Park, one of the many things to see in Giardini Naxos.
The Archaeological park extends for about forty hectares and is located between Capo Taormina and Capo Schisò. Inside we admire archaic sacred buildings surrounded by simple residential buildings and furnaces in which clay was cooked, the remains of the ruined walls that surrounded this complex are also visible.
Some of the finds found in this place are visible in the Archaeological Museum which is located in a fort built in the 17th-18th century.
